Need some new bling? Create your own glass beads at the flameworking torch! Our friendly and fabulous instructor will guide you through the process of beadmaking using traditional flameworking techniques. Starting with some simple designs, you'll learn how to create and decorate your beads using glass rods at the flameworking bench. This workshop is suitable for beginners and no experience is required. During the class you will learn to create stunning beads on the torch in just a 2-hour session. BEFORE CLASS: Students must arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class start time to sign a safety waiver and get acquainted with the studio. Bring a water bottle and a snack, come ready to learn! Closed toed shoes must be worn in the workshop. No loose or flowing clothing - cotton or natural fibres are a must. Please try to avoid leggings or synthetic fibres. Long hair should be tied back. The studio will provide safety glasses for flameworking. Students under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
